A ceramic arts project was developed in conjunction with the CEPE gerantologcal institute.
This was the initial phase of an arts programme, offered by the institution in conjunction with different artists, aimed at promoting wellbeing and social engagement.
Plants, leaves and flowers were collected and used to imprint clay surfaces; these were made in to hexagonal tiles with colouration subsequently added through ceramic glazes.
The individual works of the participants were mounted on a wooden frame.
The work was installed as a collective arts piece in the entrance hall of the CEPE institute.
